Aug 2007, Went to an Italian restaurant in Germany.. something interesting to share at the mens’ room.. I have seen bull’s eye and fly on the bowl (in Malaysia), but a goal post with the ball, that’s my first time. According to my german friend, he told me that it’s quite commonly available during the 2006 World Cup in Germany where everyone wants to score (in the Toilet)!!!

17 Aug 2007 - Tick tock tick tock; counting the days before I leave Germany.. hehehe… Well, this friday was a great night because I managed to finally stroll around the city and take some break after the previous tough weeks. I went to Potsdamer platz, a more modern part of Berlin which houses the IMAX, Sony Centre, Cinemas, wide range of restaurants and shopping malls. Here are some night shots..

1 Aug 2007- Since my Germany trip, I have not been updating my blog in whole July cause I was so busy in China (Beijing and Shanghai) with the new warehouse setup in Puxi, Shanghai. Here’s the photo taken from the top of the office of the unfinished facility in July.

23 June 2007 - My first thoughts was, who’s Christopher??? My German friend later explained that it’s a special day where hundreds of thousands of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders will walk along "KurfĂĽrstendamm" and "Siegessäule" (Berlin main city centre) to demonstrates for equal rights!!
The Motto for CSD 2007 is "Anti-discrimination / world of employment".
Well, I didn’t go there, hence can’t post any CSD 2007 photos .. 23 June was a rainy and gloomy day hence not the perfect day for outdoors.. Rain just stopped at the time of typing this blog..

10 June 2007 - It’s showtime.. decided to go for BlueMan Group show in Potsdamer Platz. Show starts at 9.00pm, hence had a very quick bite ate a Deutsch Kuche (German Kitchen) prior to the show.. The food was not bad…
Back to the show.. it lasted for 1 hour 45 mins. The opening part was catchy, hilarious, choreographed drums together with synchronized lightings. However, generally I will only give a ‘B’ rating to the show as I expected more. The ending was a bit dissapointing as I find it a waste of paper when rolls of toilet paper were covering the whole audiences’ head from the top. There goes more chopped trees…some photos nevertheless…

07 June 2007 - Was invited to have dinner with a French family in Germany. And.. nope.. we didn’t have ‘french’ fries.. After all French fries was never from France.. it’s invented in Belgium….
We had KusKus instead.. it’s made from semolina (or durum wheat) and it’s like mashed up rice (small pellets) and serves with meat and vegetable stew. He said they had this food because in France, there are many immigrant that came from Morrocco, Algeria, Tunisia, etc.. These people introduced Kuskus in France, hence it’s quite common in France already..
What’s for Dessert?? another french delight.. Opera cake.. Heard it was created in 1960s by a French pastry chef. Delicious!!

30 May 2007 - One of the craziest and funniest guy that I have ever met in Germany.. the owner of Savioe Rire Restaurant(French Restaurant), Patrick! Patrick is a French guy from Paris and he speaks German(and French), jokes, sings, draws, colours, and smokes alot!! Food there was ok, and we were lucky to bump into some ‘nomad’ musicians who came into the restaurant to play for ‘fun’.
Some photos taken.. including the one with the owner and his ‘nude’ photo taken during winter…
